Climbing through School

Indoor and outdoor rock climbing is a passion Crystal began pursuing in graduate school.

Crystal enjoys the problem-solving and creative aspects of the sport, as well as its camaraderie and spirit of self-challenge. She has climbed outdoors in Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, California, Hawaii, Washington, and Massachusetts.

The 2020 Olympics in Tokyo was the first ever to feature climbing as a sport.
